Opening in Aug. 2017, the stores goal was to bring Asian Foods (groceries) to the residence of the Mend-Lake area. The long trip to the nearest Asian Store was eliminated, it was now in your back yard.

The shelves were packed with product but the masses had no idea we were hear and money was a problem. Not being able to blanket the area with various advertising I selected a few that helped spread the word that we were hear. Still, we needed a magnet with high strength to attract the public.

It was at this point that Asian Food Kits started. The initial idea was to introduce Asian cooking to customers in the way of an authentic Thai food meal kit, and it worked. To this day you can come in to the store and buy one of over 20 kits. The fight is not over though, as we are constantly bombarded with disasters. One right after the other. So, we will keep plugging away until the final hammer hits. (my second reason for opening an Asian Market was to keep busy) That wish came true.
